Except I have misplaced my sketchbook. Wtf. I'm sure it's here somewhere, but it's been a week and I can't find it. Hence no updated Nuzlocke, cause the next update is in my sketchbook waiting to be scanned. Which is missing.

Yeah, I'm not tagging people. But I shall answer some questions from kopycat101

1.  What's your favorite shirt to wear?
I do have a few, but I've got this brown sweater that I've had for a long time and it is comfortable and flattering.

2. What would be your Pokemon type?
I like Fire types and Flying types and would LIKE to be one... but I'm not even sure. Possibly Normal. My husband says Ice, because I am always soooo cold.

3. Favorite flavor of cake?
Cheeeeeesecake. The best cake I ever had was at a Christmas party at a very nice restaurant we did work for earlier in the year and it was a blue cheese cheesecake. It was fantastic. 

4. If you could be a superhero, what would you want your name to be? 
SUPARKITTEH! I have no idea. Probably something silly and cute.

5. Who said we're wack?
I gots no idea.

6. Will the real Slim Shady please stand up?
I enjoyed this music video... It was SO huge when I was in high school.

7. What's an anime you really hate?? Does it rustle your jimmies? Grind your gears? Get your goat?
Tokyo Mew Mew. It has such potential. Female superheroes taking on the powers of endangered animals to save the environment? Super cool idea. And instead... we get a bunch of prepubescent girls that dress up in scarily sexual outfits and whine and cry about their crushes.

8. Favorite character from a Disney film? (Hero, villain, loveable sidekick, love interest--anything goes!)
Ursula, from the Little Mermaid. That sass. That design. That raw power.
Scar from The Lion King. 
Like... literally every single character from Rogue One. Chirrut and Baze especially.

9. Which Hogwarts house are you?
Slytherin, according to Pottermore. It actually fits me pretty well, especially now I'm older.

10. What class at Super Awesome Wizard School would you want to take? What what interest you the most?
I'd want to try all of them before choosing... Pretty sure I'd be good with Potions, and I'd really like to try Charms and Transfiguration.

11. How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?
Who licks those things? You just suck on em. Or chew them up.

12. What movie have you watched recently? 
Rogue One. Go see it.

13. Favorite band member from The Beatles? 
Ooooh, hard choice. John Lennon is the obvious answer, just for the music and skill and sad. Ringo Starr actually has always seemed like a pretty decent and odd guy. Paul and George are pretty sweet too, though. Gaaaah, hard question. Ringo, because his name is coolest.

1. Why won't you let your characters be happy? *gross sobbing*

Because it would hardly be a story if their day went "They woke up, had breakfast, went to work, came home, had dinner with their family and went to bed." Plus, the pain the characters go through makes their triumph that much sweeter.

2. What's your favorite Pokemon game? Doesn't even have to be from the main series.

Ooooh, that's surprisingly tough. Pokemon Snap is very high on the list. I so very badly want to see it done with today's technology. I noticed there's photography in the Sun and Moon games that really make me want the game even more.

I had a great deal of fun with Pokemon Y, more than I had had since... probably Gold.

Pokemon Yellow is just... so much nostalgia for me. Same with Red. I'm enjoying Moon more the longer I play it though.

3. Have you ever traveled outside your home country? If so, where?

I live in Canada, which is big enough that travelling from one province to the next means driving for 700km or more. But I have also left the borders, I've been down to Atlanta, New York, and Pennsylvania in the USA, and Cuba.

4. Do you think ghosts exist?

I'm not sure. Sort of? It's weird. I'm not really a big believer in an afterlife, but I know an awful lot of pagan, witchy type people in my life. And I'm not allowed to touch any of their crystals/cards/pendants/etc because I scramble the energy in them. So I guess I believe in spirits because if I have a complete inability to interact with them.

5. Would it be morally incorrect to go back in time and kill a dictator when they are a child, even if it would save a lot of people's lives in the future?

Morally incorrect... not really. Killing one person to save many is logical. It's more that you don't know what other kinds of repercussions that would have. Sure, you could go back and kill Hitler, or Attila the Hun, but then you would also lose what they did well. Attila and his armies killed and plundered their way across Asia and right into Europe, but without that, there would have been no trade across the content. No silk roads, no Renaissance, nothing like that. Hitler did bring Germany and most of Western Europe out of an absolutely crippling economic depression. The modern world would look nothing like it does now without those dictators. 

6. How well can you cook?

Average to well. I can tackle pretty much any basic recipe, especially anything European or North American based. I'm branching out into Asian and Indian spices and techniques, but I don't have a lot of practice with seafood. I've also got very good at modifying foods for a gluten-free diet because my husband is celiac.

7. Is this real life, or this this fantasy?

Caught in a landslide, with no escape from reality.

9. What is the weirdest dream you've ever had? (the sleeping kind, not the time you possibly wanted to be a famous actor-model-astronaut-athelete-billionaire-president).

Hmm... Depends. I had a strange one that involved my old cat unburying himself from the backyard and his skeleton followed me around all day. This was much less traumatic than one might expect and actually oddly nice.

My husband enjoys conversing with me when I'm unconscious, which makes for some very odd dreams indeed. His current favourite involves turkey eggs that if you plant them, grow into trees. This went on for a few nights in a row, actually, and the last conversation actually made me wake up enough to find the egg-potato-thing. It was.. odd.

10. Favorite band? Favorite song(s) from said band?

Oh, dear. This changes depending on what I've most recently listened to. I'm a fan of Trekkie Girl by Warp 11. High Hopes by Pink Floyd. Livin' on the Edge by Aerosmith. 

11. Favorite Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli film? Why?

My Neighbor Totoro. It was the first one I ever watched, and those treeees. Holy crap, those trees. So glorious. I want to go to a place where the trees are so epic they are worshiped as gods.

12.What would you do if you were told your entire life was a lie, and that your memory of your previous life was wiped out and replaced with your current memories and identity?

Be awful curious why. And how they managed it. I look a LOT like my parents. Like, there's no denying I came from them. And I have some pretty specific muscle-memory things that could really only come from the work I've done and the places I've lived. 

I'd also be very curious who I was. An alternate identity is neat.

13. Who's The Absolute Worst teacher you've ever had?

Ms. Edge. In Grade 5, our actual teacher had a nervous breakdown, and so a substitute teacher got hired on for the whole rest of the year. She was shrill and incompetent at both teaching and controlling students. It was miserable.

So, RRevenant tagged me with Ellie this time. So, here's some information on our oldest teammate.

1) Ellie's father was one of the rare male human doctors practicing in Kalos. She was aware of him growing up, and took a class on surgical procedures from him, but they never spoke outside of that.

2) She has numerous sisters, two on her mother's side and probably four from her father. Because of the constant demand for Audino and Chansey Gijinka, even in regions like Kanto, it is encouraged (though not forced) for males in the profession to produce as many offspring as they are willing to.

3) Her hair started going white in her early twenties, and it was pure white by the time she was thirty. It actually gained her more odd looks than the pink hair had.

4) With a lifetime of practice, Ellie can perfectly understand any Audino she meets, and mostly understand any Chansey or Wigglytuff. She understands other Pokemon better than her teammates, but usually not as well as that Pokemon's trainer could.

5) She was a pediatrician by specialty. Any cubs, kittens, babies, or chicks would usually be brought to her first, although she was a competent nurse and healer for most other things as well.

6) All Gijinka and Pokemon nurses and healers get basic battle training, usually up to the strength of at least one gym badge. They often have to deal with unruly or confused patients. Healing abilities are required moveset, but all of them have at least one attack as well.

7) Although she's reaching the age of retirement, Ellie had never actually considered leaving the Centre. Even if she were pulled from active duty, she'd likely have continued part-time until the day she died.

8) She hates seeing children hurt, but also doesn't like the idea of restricting young Gijinka or Pokemon from battle. It's important for healthy growth, both physically and mentally. She wants to reform the laws so it's safer, not so it's forbidden.

So yeah. Anyone else who watches me who hasn't done this for their characters should so so. Good character-building exercise.

8 Facts about Charlie!

1) Before setting out on his challenge, Charlie had no more experience fighting than the other lower-class human and gijinka children in his neighborhood. He'd never been injured enough to require a Potion or trip to the Centre.
2) He's been a vegetarian most of his life, but that was more because of lack of money than a moral choice. Birthday dinners were usually meat-based.
3) When he was ten, Han showed Charlie the recording of his mother's Elite Four battle. He was more scared than inspired.
4) Charlie never had any real friends, but he also refused to pick on anyone else to gain acceptance, making him a big outcast in school.
5) He always hated writing essays in school, but actually kind of liked math.
6) He has been a janitor, chambermaid at a hotel, stockboy, busboy, and shoveled sidewalks to make money.
7) His vines are a part of his body and he can feel them. It hurts if they are cut or damaged, but they regrow FAR more easily than fingers, or even skin.
8) The spines on his arms usually resemble rose thorns, but they will grow up to two inches long if he wants to stab something with them. They are always sharp, however. He has to be very careful taking off that shirt.
