Arual vs Perla

Beware my REALLY lame background! I figure if the Anime artists can get away with a battle background like that, so can I!

This is in response to a challenge by *Malignant-Librarian. Her Pokemon OC has declared battle on all of us! I wanted to draw what looked like an insanely mismatched battle, with my teeny tiny little Eevee... and for some reason, her awesome Milotic wanted to be the opponent. I'm happy with the way she turned out, but man, those scales drove me nuts. And Desdemona, the Milotic, has that particular odd patterning because of being in the way of a grumpy Magmortar while still a Feebas.

And ack. Forgot the earrings and green eyes... didn't have the reference while I was drawing and had too much fun to wait.
